This recipe that I found is very similar to the first wheat bread that I made, but it has a different crust, due to having melted butter brushed onto it after it comes out of the oven.
First I started off by mixing yeast, warm water, and a little bit of sugar, and let that sit. While the yeast is sitting I mixed together whole wheat flour, butter, brown sugar, salt, and all-purpose flour. I then added the yeast and mixed until a stiff dough formed.
I then kneaded the dough on a floured surface until it was smooth and formed a nice windowpane.
I then greased the dough in my bread bowl and covered with a damp tea towel to rise. After the dough doubled in size I punched it down and shaped the dough into two loafs.

Once I had shaped the dough I then cut slashes into each loaf before I let them rise for a second time. Once the loafs had doubled in size, I then put them in the oven.

As soon as I took the loafs out of the oven I brushed them with melted butter before I let them cool. This gives the bread a very crunchy crust.
