About

I have been interested in everything about food my entire life; from cooking and being surrounded by farming as a child to owning a personal chef and catering business. I hunger for everything food and I want to share the stories of people making our world a better place through food. I returned to The Evergreen State College to complete my undergraduate degree in Food Studies and I would like to incorporate writing, research and sharing stories around food and all of the wonderful people that provide sustainable, healthy and accessible food for us all. I live in Seattle, Washington with my very supportive boyfriend, the best dog in the world Ruby and our 4 chickens; Gertrude, Elsie, Suki and Tina. I am a proud mama of 2 amazing human beings who are currently studying art and design in Chicago and New York. This project is part of a study into learning about food; why we eat what we eat, why taste matters, who cooks and grows our food, why accessibility matters and sharing the stories of the people and places involved through travel and inquiry. I am excited to share my discoveries through my view of the world of food.
