Program of Project Description

Narrative: This project will aim to incorporate areas of study around tropical soil science, cocoa, beekeeping, and radicchio. The field studies while in Jamaica will consist of working with and understanding tropical soils, beekeeping and talking with local beekeepers. Along with this working with cocoa and understanding the processes of fermentation of cocoa. While in Jamaica as well I hope to see examples of bio-char or various systems of composting.
