Spring Quarter Community Garden ILC outline:
Description: In this ILC, the student will be participating with a group of peers in the planning and implementation of a small-scale garden plan within the Evergreen Community Garden Space. As a collaboration, the student will be learning the theories and concepts involved in the making of a comprehensive garden plan that will be used as a guideline for the season’s growing plans. Using the created garden plan, the student will begin prepping the garden space, seeding vegetable crops, managing diverse crop species, and learning harvest techniques for various crops.
