Week 1-3: Waited for the mushrooms to arrive
Week 4:
it came to me already inoculated due to the heat of the transport van and warehouse it was in. I was worried about contaminants due to the early inoculation and didnt know how that was going to effect the substrate or the mycelium that was growing in the bag. It turned out fine and the mushrooms are slowly getting bigger

Week 5- 9: I knew going into growing the reshi mushrooms that it was going to take a while due to the fluctuation in temperature in my household as well as the weather outside. Not much growing has happened but i’ll post an update for week 10.
Week 10: Not much has changed, they are not yet ready to cultivate and eat due to the temperature slowing the rate of growth. But I will continue to update after this. Instead enjoy a photo of the growth it has made so far 🙂 They are about the size of my hand and forearm and I cant cultivate them till all the white is gone because as they grow out and mature the white will subside and I can either cultivate them or I can take the substrate out of the bag and make an art piece with it.
