-Start Meeting w/ Basics of Responsibilities in Meetings
- This is an “open, constructive space” where people can create, collaborate, and theorize without judgment. If there is any intentional bullying, shaming, or hazing, you will be removed from this group without hesitation.
-Basic Explanation of Project: New World
- Branches
- Website progress so far/ plans for the future
- Purpose of projects/meetings; explain how these meetings are supposed to be an outlet for people to create, collaborate, and change the world
-Explain Plans For The Future
- Start each meeting w/ 10 min of meditation/relaxation
- take a vote on whether or not to do music/meditation lead
- Go over previous meeting’s checklists/accomplishments
- warn people that there will be a public “role call” style of what’s been completed, but if something is incomplete, it will be addressed privately through the discord chat afterwards
- Go over projects that P:NW is starting up/ is making progress on, and take polls on who is interested in certain projects
- Macro-problem+explanation+discussion; bring up topic that has been effecting the world as a whole, and theorize potential ways to solve the problem. (30-45 min) (flexible)
- Group decides when to move on from one specific topic
- On-campus/ local idea brainstorming+possible replication of projects to other communities (30-45min) (flexible)
- Assignment of tasks for the week
- One thing everyone’s grateful for/ struggling with (optional)
-Explanation of interests/ talents/ what people hope to accomplish through these meetings (a “profile” will be constantly updated on participants in order to connect them with organizations/projects that reflect their interests)
-One thing that everyone’s excited about for the program+feedback/ one thing that everyone has been grateful for/ struggling with
Objectives (Before Being Assigned):
- Website design; someone that is interested in designing the Branch pages on P:NW’s website.
- Possible Instagram manager; in charge of posting more than once/ week on an official P:NW Instagram account.
