This week, the group focus was driven towards field preparation and germination chamber details. Unfortunately, we were unable to begin the germination study this week. It’s been decided that circumstances have changed the length of our original methodology. This means that our experiment will need to be reduced to one week- 7 days, and there will be less data for analysis. However, Solanum aethiopicum L. has been known to germinate in 4-5 days, within controlled conditions(Botey et al., 2022)

32″ by 43′ beds and 18″ by 43′ paths measured on Friday. This process had to be re-assed multiple times to check any offset impacts due to tension, weather, or other environmental factors. Feather-meal was side-dressed 8″ outwards, on the right of each bed. Feather-meal was evenly spread in an approximately 4″ trench and covered.
