It has been really hard for me to get into a groove with this project. Winter quarter ennui seems to have gotten the better of me and I can’t seem to get anything done that I am proud of or even like. For me, it is so hard to push myself to do something that I do not feel attached to or passionate about so forcing myself to write when I really did not like anything I was producing was not sustainable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead of continuing to fight this uphill battle with myself, I have decided to change up my project a bit to fit where my energy is at. I will be writing an annotated bibliography for the panoply of books I have, cook recipes both from my family cookbook as well as historical foods, and then have a sort of creative section where I will do writing and maybe put in a few art pieces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This idea was brought into the world yesterday and I am already feeling way more motivated than I have for the past three weeks. Even though I have been struggling to find a good work flow, this is still a subject that I am deeply interested in and I am more than ready to dig into learning about it with this new format in mind. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
