The student will also dig into the characteristics of the world of wine by doing wine tastings and comparisons and recording their findings. The student will also cook meals, everything from cheeses to meats to desserts, to pair with wines. I will use\u00a0https:\/\/wicci.wisc.edu\/<\/a> as my starting point.
– I will research into what climate and geography is needed to grow grapes, along with how to grow grapes, and what grape varieties prefer what type of climates.<\/td>I will share this research in weekly ePortfolio posts. <\/td><\/tr> I want to learn more about the characteristics of wine.<\/td> – I will research wine characteristics through Wine Folly<\/em> by Madeline Puckette and Justin Hammack and Wine: A Tasting Course<\/em> by Marnie Old.
