Roll for Change is a podcast created by the combined efforts of The Evergreen State College Climate Justice and Game Design departments. By exploring themes of climate change and climate justice through play, we can learn more about the world around us, raise awareness to rising problems, and promote social change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each episode of the podcast focuses on a different card, board, or tabletop roleplaying game loosely themed around climate justice or solarpunk. Cast members learn the game, play through it, then discuss its themes. Discussions entail casual and constructive conversation on the effectiveness of the game\u2019s message, the types of climate issues it addresses, and how the mechanics of the game impact its messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
