I&#8217;ve referenced several studies to better understand the role of statistical analysis. There are numerous variance formulas that can be used to analyze and compare the data set(s), and verify any error or significant outliers. After speaking with faculty and preforming my own research, I am particularly interested in using ANOVA, Chi-squared, and Root Mean Square Error. It&#8217;s clear that with the lack of repetitions in the greenhouse germination study, ANOVA or chi-squared will not be suitable for that study. However, the germination chamber study will include repetitions and therefore have enough data for these statistical analysis techniques.
