This would give me a great detail into what grains grew in Finland. This data would then show me what the foundation of bread grew up on in Finland. Next I would research every single bread recipe that I am able to find that deals some how with Finland, whither its a recipe that came from Finland, a recipe from a Finnish person, a family recipe, ect. I would then collect these recipes and look through them and see which ones have rye in them. For my next question I would do two things. The first I would do a taste testing among Finns of all the rye bread recipes that I found; I would then see which ones were the most commonly chosen breads and why. My next step would be to do a random survey of Finns on which rye bread they commonly ate and why. I would then compare the two results and see how they compare and how they differ.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Dinner with Darwin Food, Drink, and Evolution by: Jonathan Silvertown Why is rye such a commonly found ingredient in Finnish food, specifically in bread?
